That didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. As you can see it has been months since I last posted. Like so many others, I had high hopes for my blog, carefully chose a theme, wrote a decent first article with pictures and everything, then went back to life as usual. Not that there is anything wrong with life as usual, I actually quite enjoy it. But this place I thought would become such a great outlet for my tremendous pent up creative energies hasn't exactly lived up to its potential.
I travel, take pictures, meet interesting people, surf the web and constantly discover interesting things, but usually I just post entries to delicious and leave it at that. It's easy and very useful to me, but not particularly visible or useful to others. But at least delicious is a social network of sorts, so there is some shared value in keeping breadcrumbs of my discoveries available there. Mostly I like the service because I can easily get to it from other computers.
The other thing I've tried to do more of recently is participate in online forums for projects that I find interesting or worthwhile. Maybe I'll do some cross posting so people (code for my imaginary fans) can see what I've being participating in lately.
Hmmm, we'll see.
